Welcome to the Campus of International Languages (CIL), the only campus under Tribhuvan University offering both Academic non academic Language courses in Nepal. We offer language programs in five Himalayan languages–Nepali, Sanskrit, Newari, Pali and Tibetan—to the expatriate students and in several foreign languages to the Nepalese students. Moreover, the campus has also launched a three year-Bachelor Program in Nepali for foreign students.
We offer exciting opportunities for learning languages in a multicultural atmosphere. I believe the multicultural environment the Campus offers certainly provides students an international perspective in their outlook and vision. Our current students—Nepali and expatriate—feel themselves fortunate for their exposure to different beliefs, customs, and religions. And, I reinstate our commitment to bring many cultural traditions to CIL students on a daily basis.
I am proud of our faculties who are dedicated to achieving the goal of the Campus, that is, to produce human resource capable of communicating with people speaking different languages. Our faculties endeavor to make students feel ‘at home’ in our stimulating learning environment.
I am also proud of the infrastructures of the CIL . Our library possesses a good collection of textbooks and reference materials. The CIL also has an audio-visual library equipped with modern language learning facilities. Welcome once again to the Campus of International Languages.
